Where can I find an investor for a local golf course?

A 27 hole championship golf course closed in central wisconsin two years ago to build an aquaplex on top of it. The aquaplex fell through but the golf course remained closed. At the time of closing, they had the largest womens league in the state and a very busy public course. This course needs to be reopened!
It takes a lot of work to do for this type of operation. Did they change the zoning? Who owns it? What is currently zoned for? Links cons what? A lot of questions, but if there is a viable option might be something to look along the road with all that now, the development of new investors is not something running on.
